Chat With Bella - Jobs, Taxes, Latest Trends, Oh My!

Hello, good morning, and happy Saturday to all! It has been a minute since I last posted, but I’m ready to get back in action. And wow, top 10 titles I never would have written as a kid… this one. We’re breaking out of blog norms today!

I haven’t had as much time to write on my blog due to my work. It’s a good job, I work as a receptionist at a tax office. It’s a seasonal job, and since it’s tax season, there’s quite a bit of traffic as you can imagine. Heck, I even got my own taxes filed there this year. (It was a lot more intuitive than I thought, we were done within 15 minutes max!) But yeah, I’ve been getting a good amount of hours. I haven’t managed my time quite right yet in order to fit all of my hobbies into my free time, but I am working on it! Luckily, I have this weekend off, so I figured now was as good a time as any to begin writing again.

But onto the fun things, since I can’t talk about taxes for too long without absolutely boring the readers out! (I say that like I have any readers. Oh well, old habits die hard, I’m going to act as though there’s an audience even if no one’s reading or watching.) What’s with the “latest trends” in the title? Normally, I wouldn’t be about that. But amongst my TikTok doomscrolling about just how horribly the world is burning, I came across a little show that I ended up taking interest in, and that’s where we return to blog norms and begin talking about a cartoon.

I’ve talked about various cartoons on this blog before. Nothing can top the countless posts I have made about My Little Pony, I’ve written about Littlest Pet Shop a couple of times, even Nickelodeon shows such as The Loud House were not exempt. Truthfully, I have not been fully into cartoons since around that age. I rewatch ones from my childhood, but I don’t go out of my way to seek out new ones that I’ve never seen before. Call me picky, but cartoons really need to have something special about them in order for me to go out of my way to watch it. Whether that be a continuation of an old one, or based off an IP that I already enjoy. That said, unfortunately, this cartoon doesn’t fall under those categories at all. In fact, I’m not sure why I even like it at all.

The show is called Rocket Monkeys, and from the title alone you can deduce what it’s about. It mainly features the two rocket monkeys - Gus and Wally - going on wacky space antics that vary depending on the episode. They claim to be heroic, but they never actually do anything. In fact, most of the time, the villains of the show are bad because the monkeys messed their life up. It also features Yay-OK, a vaguely Gameboy-shaped robot that acts as the mediator when it comes to the monkeys’ shenanigans. I’ve compared a lot of this show to the ridiculousness of modern SpongeBob, although I don’t think that’s really a fair comparison considering I still have yet to watch a majority of that show. (Crazy right? A cartoon fan that isn’t that big on SpongeBob!)

The tone is mostly random and nonsensical, with humor that can range from dumb to flat out gross-out humor. It’s not something I could have ever imagined myself liking, but something about it just sucked me in, I suppose. My dad said it perfectly when he described it as “a train wreck you can’t keep your eyes off of”. This show is terrible, and I understand why a majority of its virality is merely clowning on it. However, in an age of AI generated shows and movies in development, I think it’s more important than ever that shows like this do exist. Human creation has inherent value by comparison, no matter how strange it may seem on the surface. That’s how I like to view it, anyways. I think I’d rather watch human-made slop than AI-generated slop any day.

Plus, Yay-OK is very cute! He is my favorite character in the show, as expected. I tend to really like robot characters, and he fit the bill pretty well. He’s the only character that seems to be level-headed, and perhaps it’s because of him that the monkeys haven’t gone completely off the walls yet. (Okay, maybe they have just a little bit. But they haven’t destroyed themselves yet.)

The show is long-since cancelled, with three seasons and one 45-minute movie special under its belt. It received some level of success during its time, mainly in Canada where the show was produced. It aired on Teletoon in Canada in January 2013, and Nickelodeon/Nicktoons in the US in March that same year. It ended in 2016, so that means this show was airing during the time I was actively watching Nickelodeon. I find it bizarre that I had never seen or heard about it before, although I only had the regular Nick channel, not Nicktoon. It’s possible that by the time I started watching Nickelodeon shows, it had already been pushed to the less popular Nicktoon channel. I can only assume that’s what happened, but even as a kid I feel like I would’ve found it pretty annoying and not worth watching. I’m still confused on why adult me thinks it is worth watching, but oh well, some things you just can’t explain.

I’m not sure what else to write here. I will probably swallow some shame and work on a Rocket Monkeys based story later on. I have a feeling that if by some miracle, younger me watched the show and liked it, she would have written a story about it and posted it onto this very blog. So, I guess I’m honoring that hypothetical. We’ll see about it though, I tend to take way too long writing nowadays. I could just replicate my old style of writing, that’s always a possibility. Again, we’ll see.

I hope you all have a good weekend, remember to prep for the weather accordingly! (It’s been all over the place lately. I blame the AI data centers… yes, I do blame a majority of problems on AI, how could ya tell? I hate it that much.)

See you next time on Bella’s Pink Planet!

Chat With Bella - Hangin’ Around

Hey guys, welcome back to another blog post!

Today, not much has been going on. It’s really your average Wednesday for me. Because we don’t celebrate Christmas anymore, nothing’s really happening although it’s technically Christmas Eve. We are going to be having a turkey tonight, but that’s unrelated. We were going to have it earlier in the week, but we decided on other things for those days instead. Which is cool, I enjoy a good plate of steak bites with a side of rice and green beans. (I had a repeat of it for lunch today!)

I haven’t been drawing as much as I normally would, but I certainly have the urge to. I reckon after I’m done writing, I’ll work out for a little bit and then I’ll draw something. I’ve been at a loss for ideas lately, but not for lack of motivation, which makes things really frustrating. It’s wanting to draw, super badly, but not knowing WHAT to draw.

Other than that, I’ve really just been spending my time relaxing and listening to music. I don’t have as much motivation throughout the day as I used to, so my productivity with my hobbies tends to vary. I do like to take naps midday if I can, sometimes it’s just nice to give the good ol’ brain a refresh. I don’t do it every single day, but believe me, I would if I could. A good night’s rest never seems to be enough… I need moooorrreee!

I’ve got another art kit en route to me, as well. (Thank you, mom!) It’s straight off of TikTok, much like the pencil set that I got for Hanukkah and very much enjoy. It has things like oil pastels and acrylic paints, all sorts of goodies. It has over 100 pcs, so I look forward to seeing what it has to offer. It should be here by the end of December, early January give or take. I’ll be sure to make a post about it when I get it!

I’m getting pretty good at actually remembering to post on my blog, relatively speaking. I’ve already posted more in the past week or so than the previous few years alone. Man, this blog was truly dead for a while, wasn’t it? But like I once said in a blog post years ago, I could never truly shut it down. I attempted to make a Facebook page for it in 2021, but that failed miserably. I just don’t like the format of Facebook posts as much, plus I didn’t really get any reach. Not like I get any here, either, but for Blogger it’s kind of expected. I can’t name a single person nowadays who actively subscribes to a blog.

And yet, no matter how much time passes, I always eventually come back to writing on here. It just feels cozy, you know? Like reliving a nostalgic experience. I mean, really, they’ve barely changed how this website functions, apart from how it looks on cell phones. But because I write on an iPad, everything looks the same as it did when I started writing on this platform over a decade ago. Really fascinating that this blog is over 10 years old now. Older than I was when I first started it!

In an age of AI and lower attention spans, sometimes it’s nice to return to the basics. I did a lot of reminiscing in my original “I’m back” post, so I won’t do too much here. You know, I think this is the first time I wrote a post saying that I was back, and then ACTUALLY came back and started writing. Apart from the little gap of time between creating my blog and actively posting on it. By that point, all engagement on this blog was dead, and I’ve accepted that as its fate now. It’s just a void for my thoughts at this point, which I don’t mind too much. That’s how it’s always been, really, apart from the people coming from my mom’s blog at the very beginning.

I don’t have too much to say today. Sure, I could sit here all day and talk about old times, but it’s better to live in the present for a majority of the time, a lesson I had to learn the hard way. I should really be focusing on how to make content for the blog going forward, so I don’t go on this endless loop of a nostalgia trip. I’ll figure something out, but it may take a bit of time and planning for me to do so. Stay patient, folks! (I say as though there’ll be anyone to read this.)

Chat With Bella - Hanukkah!

Hello everyone! I said in my last post to not get your hopes up about me posting again, but… here I am! And with a new cover image, at that. Listen, I couldn’t deal with that old thing anymore, so I had to do a new one. Even though it’s still an edit like the old one, it’s a lot more pleasing to the eye. I wanted to keep the general original design, but with a more conversational tone, since I would use it for talking about whatever I’d like to, as opposed to a story that I’d be writing.

Which brings me to my next topic, the stories. No idea if they’ll be making a return, but I’m going to air on the side of “probably not”. It’s a lot of time commitment to make a story as opposed to a regular blog post. While I do still have a passion for writing stories, I’m unsure if the nature of them would be suitable for this blog.

Onto the topic at hand for today…

We’re a good ways into the celebration of Hanukkah now. We started gift-giving a day early, so I’m actually getting my final round of presents tomorrow. Since I’ve gotten almost everything, I might as well talk about what I’ve gotten so far. The final presents should be big enough to warrant their own post.

One of the highlights is this NicPro drawing set, essentially consisting of mechanical pencils and fineliners, along with lead refills and colored lead. It even came with a sketchbook! It was quite the surprise despite me asking for it, and I have gotten a lot of use out of it.

Pretty neat, no? It’s one of my favorites I’ve gotten so far.

In my last post, I mentioned the new keyboard that I got. And while I did get that, I got a couple of other things alongside it!

(Apologies for the messy bed.)

A matching Pinkie Pie mouse and cat ear headset! It’s all very adorable. Like I mentioned previously, I’ve been using this new keyboard to write on my blog! Has a very nostalgic feel to it, I truly do believe younger me would have freaked out if she knew what kind of keyboard I just got. XD To be fair, adult me freaked out as well. I still love ponies, after all!

Speaking of ponies, I got some of the My Little Pony trading cards that are popular in China right now. The whole brand absolutely exploded over there recently, and they got a lot of exclusive merch. The Pinkie Pie case is a binder for them. Then we have a collection of Barbie movies, which is always fun! And then we have PAC-Man World 2 Re-PAC, a game that I feel like deserves its own post… once I beat it, of course. But I can assure you, it is very fun to play! (Notice how I’m allocating certain topics for their own posts? Not to get your hopes up or anything, but I truly am trying to make blogging a habit for me! So I’m giving myself more things to talk about!)

Speaking of games, maybe I’ll talk about Ratchet and Clank on my blog after Hanukkah is finished. I got a year of PS Plus Premium as an early Hanukkah gift, so that I can play Ratchet and Clank games on my PS5. I’ve only been into the series since May, but it’s all been really fun. I’d just have to figure out what specific talking points I’d like to bring to my blog, considering there’s a lot to talk about. I’m not adverse to making a post entirely dedicated to my crush on Clank (heck, I did that with Henry Danger back in the day… I was like 12, all right?) so we’ll see. It could be entirely random!

Anyways, back to the Hanukkah shenanigans.

I did get more things, but I only took a picture of the stuff I got today. So, I suppose I’ll talk about that now!

A cozy reading theme, anyone?

I used to be obsessed with the Warrior Cats books back when I was a tween, quite literally the same time frame I was really active on my blog. It inspired me to write every time I read it, and I was so invested in the story. My parents got me this collection of graphic novels, and it is such a beautiful adaptation of the original story. I have only read a little bit, but it is very faithful and the art is absolutely beautiful.

I wasn’t aware that The Hobbit had a graphic novel (I had been eyeing the Warriors ones for a while), but this might finally be the thing that gets me to actually READ The Hobbit. I own the actual books, but for some reason have been struggling to sit down and read it. Hopefully this will be the push that I need!

The self-love coloring book is an interesting one. Lots of big, open areas to color, seems that you can really focus on shading if you wanted to. Which, I probably will, considering how I love to shade with my colored pencils. Reminds me that I should probably start posting my art and coloring work on here. I mean, why not, right? I used to post my art here all the time, too. (Granted, it was of much lower quality considering I was younger, and didn’t know how to work a tablet camera for the life of me.) Regardless, it seems therapeutic.

The lamb plushie is one of those ones that breathe and glow as a form of sleep aid. I have yet to try it out, since I got it this morning, but I will tonight. Hopefully it helps me get more sleep, I’ve been lacking that lately.

And then, finally, the three miniature notebooks. They’re small enough to where I can stick them in my purse and take them wherever. Very helpful for things like journaling and doodling on the go. Although, I don’t usually have the opportunity to do that when I’m actually out of the house. In the car, maybe? I guess it might come more in handy when I do eventually move out. I might just use them at home as it stands right now. They’re very cute and well made, with slightly toned paper so as to not hurt my eyes. (Which are very sensitive!)

That’s all I have in terms of photos. It may not seem like a lot, but I also got presents early and got more than I showed here. I don’t exactly wanna seem like I’m bragging! But I’ve been having a lot of fun this Hanukkah, for sure. It’s a lot less stressful than I thought it would be, last year things didn’t exactly go well. I’m relieved, to say the least, that things have been relatively peaceful and I’ve been able to enjoy the celebration and time to rest. I still do daily treadmill work, but it’s light compared to my usual exercise routine, which starts back up on Monday. Better enjoy the last bit of Hanukkah and weekend while it lasts, right?

With this, that concludes the post. Thanks for reading my ramblings, if you did! As for me, I’m off to relax for the rest of the evening. (I wrote this post over the course of the whole day… hey, baby steps, right? Can’t exactly do it in one sitting like I used to.)

See you next time on Bella’s Pink Planet!

Back at it again!

Hello and good evening everyone! Or morning, or afternoon, depending on your time zone and whenever you end up reading this.

I figured it would be fun to write on this blog again, since I recently got a new keyboard for Hanukkah that’s really fun to use with my iPad. It’s Pinkie Pie themed, with rainbow LED lights! It’s really cool, and the sound it makes is very satisfying.

This blog is almost like a time capsule of sorts. I like to visit my childhood years through it, despite no one else really reading it except for me. I guess, in a way, it’s become a bit of a diary. Heck, the only comments I’ve really gotten in recent years are spam and bot comments. Annoying. I really thought I had been discovered for a moment… but who’s gonna read a blog filled with hundreds of posts that some kid wrote? Definitely not me, if I hadn’t written the thing. So yeah, definitely some diary vibes going on here.

What’s crazy is I’m still into all the same things that I used to be. Still into ponies, still into Minecraft, all those things. I’m just older and with more responsibilities now. Realistically I should really update the image I keep using for these “update posts”. It’s very old and clearly done poorly in MS Paint. I can do so much better with the equipment I have now.

With AI being incorporated into social media (and pretty much everything) nowadays, it may be a good idea to decentralize. Post, even though no one’s really reading. With how Twitter’s changed its terms recently, I’m really rethinking my internet experience and I how I could improve it. I think it would be beneficial if I returned to my glory days of posting on this blog. I think it would be fun, don’t you?

I’m probably gonna keep up that shtick of talking as though people are reading… I mean you never know, right? Someone could easily stumble upon this blog, it’s not exactly private. I’m not sure that’s even an actual thing you can do on Blogger? Regardless, Bella’s Pink Planet is, in fact, a public blog. Which means my old, cringey posts are publicly available for absolutely anyone to stumble upon. Now THAT is terrifying.

And yet, I don’t especially care too much. I have nothing to hide, really. What are you gonna get out of me by seeing my old stories and blog posts? I was a kid making whatever I felt like, you can’t really hold much against that. I’m just gonna keep doing my thing, trucking along like no one’s watching. Because, realistically, no one is. But if someone stumbled upon this website, then, congratulations. Welcome to a culmination of my creative brain over the years. I bet you didn’t really need such a deep glance into my soul, considering if you stumbled upon this by mistake, you really wouldn’t know who I am. But at the end of the day, you chose to read it. Can’t blame me for that, either. Man, I sound so cynical. What happened to me? Oh yeah, adulthood. It kinda comes with that, huh?

There I go talking to myself again. Although that’s what this is all about, I suppose. I don’t really have much to talk about. I’ll probably post about Ratchet and Clank or my other current interests. Could be fun to keep a log of my interests as time passes. This year, I kept a log of my interests each month. The results were that I was into Yo Gabba Gabba from January-May, and then from May onwards it was Ratchet and Clank. See, I kind of pick a thing and then run with it for as long as I physically can. Some of my interests never truly go away, they just hibernate for a while.

I just realized how stoked younger me would be if she knew that 21-year-old me was typing on a light-up My Little Pony keyboard. And on the same blog, too… I really haven’t changed a bit, have I? I guess it’s good I’m returning to this place. In a way, I’ve missed it. The ability to write whatever I want without worrying what other people might think of it. I remember sitting down at my computer for hours, just… writing. It was my outlet. I didn’t have social media, or an image to uphold. I didn’t have any of that. I just had my computer, my tablet, a blog and a dream. I was carefree in a way that I wish I had nowadays. Hopefully I can get a bit of that back now.

Well, my dad just came in suggesting I get some shut-eye really soon. Crazy how I don’t have a bedtime nowadays, and if I did, it would be much later than it used to be. When I was actively writing here, my bedtime was 8 pm. Currently, it’s 10:17. I probably won’t be up too much longer, but I can’t imagine typing this post for longer will be that good for my eyes. I’m getting tired, and a good session of writing after that hot chocolate I just drank will ensure I get some good sleep tonight. Let’s hope, I seem to be iffy on that nowadays. Again, something I envy about younger me. Just the ability to sleep through the night and wake up rested, no problem. Crazy stuff…

That’s all from me. I’d say expect some more posts, but whenever I say that, it doesn’t really become a reality. I’m not about to jinx it. However, my interests are leaning towards me coming back. Perhaps it’s as simple as building that old habit back up again. Reaching for Blogger instead of like… TikTok, I dunno.

It’s only fitting if I attach my classic outro, right?

See you next time on Bella’s Pink Planet!

Minecraft Movie Merch!

Hello everyone! Bella here! Today, I had a fun little outing. Well, first and foremost, I had to go get some running shoes. That was mainly what we were set out to do. I got some nice and comfortable shoes to help support me when I run! (Which will be happening a LOT, so that’s very important!)

Then, we took a detour to GameStop, and I got some cool stuff from the Minecraft Movie that I thought I would share!

First, I got Dennis, Steve’s dog from the movie! He is SUPER soft and fluffy!!!!!

He will make a great cuddle buddy for when the movie comes out on Amazon Prime (which I’m hoping will be soon! I can’t take waiting much longer)!!

I also had the song “Ode to Dennis” stuck in my head all the way home, lol!

Next, I got some figure bag clips of different characters from the movie! I only bought two of them, the other two were actually free! (The sheep and the piglin, that is) The girl behind the register had bought them for herself, but she didn’t want them anymore, so she gave them to me! I hope she eventually gets the chicken jockey she was aiming for.

My favorite would have to be the Garrett clip! That’s the exact one I wanted, I was so excited when I got him!

Here he is, in all his glory!

I could probably find a way to clip these onto my Inside Out bag. Poor thing has been collecting dust for way too long! It is a REALLY cool bag, though!

But I’m getting off topic. This post was about the Minecraft Movie!! XD

Overall, I am very happy with these pieces of merch, and I hope to find more soon!

Oh yeah, which brings me to talking about what I have my eyes set on! Sort of like a wishlist, only I’m buying them myself. I’m just excited to talk about it!

I know there are more figures of Garrett out there, like in the Perfectly Crafted Escape set. I want to get that eventually, but it’s Target exclusive, so I will have to figure out how to navigate the website first.

He’s also in this really cool Mini Mode set, which I might end up getting first (again, if I can figure out how to order it from the Target website)

I mean, this is just seriously cool! It’s interesting to see the characters in block form, since the movie is live-action. My favorites are Steve and of course Garrett (I love that he has his buck-chuckets)!! It’s the first time I’ve seen Maglosha as a figure, but I haven’t looked that hard yet.

There’s also the chicken jockey scene Lego set on Amazon. I was debating buying it, but it’s pretty expensive. It’s 50 bucks, not including shipping. I might pass on it, honestly. I don’t play with Legos as much anymore, and especially given how many I already have, that may have to wait until something sparks in me with Lego again.

I will definitely get more use out of the Minis of the characters, because they’ll work well with my old Minecraft Stop Motion set. I still have all the parts after all these years. I also have some buildable magnetic block sets that are like Minecraft, which I could use with them too! So it feels more like adding onto a set than buying something entirely new. I think I might still have a couple of my old Minis in my ziploc bag I keep the parts in.

For those wondering, the Minecraft Stop Motion app is defunct. You can’t make animations with the set anymore, which sucks because it was really expensive. But on the bright side, they do work as regular toys! It’s just a shame that they can’t be animated anymore. Maybe I’ll put forth the effort to stitch together a stop motion animation myself using a camera and editing program, one of these days. I know how to do it, it’s just tedious.

In any case, that’s all I had to share for today!

See you next time on Bella’s Pink Planet!

.:Pollution:. Chapter 1

A/N: Isn't it ridiculous how it's 2019 and I'm still making recolors using Microsoft Paint even though I have proper software now? Haha. It's just something about recolors, it has a nice tint to it. In my opinion, that is. Sooo don't come out me with flaming torches everyone, I am well aware that recolors are overused and annoying. This is my blog, not yours, so shhhh :) Anyways let's get right into the story boiz! Yeet!

Bunny's P.O.V

I walked along what should've been the lush green grass of Green Hill. Unfortunately, it was not as bright and colorful as it had been quite a while ago. The entire world of Mobius suffered an incredibly large wave of pollution, and no one is sure who caused such a thing. Many pointed their fingers at Eggman, but there was no solid proof of that. It's terrifying knowing our world is on its dying legs and we can't do anything about it.

Not only is the world around us polluted, but the sudden change in our world caused many of our hearts to harden and somewhat pollute as well. Nobody talks to each other anymore, and there's not a smile in sight. I wish there was a way to fix this, but sadly, we've been trying to find a solution, and it's simply nonexistent.

Mobius' heroes, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters, were the only one who interacted with each other now. They were the main ones trying to figure out what caused this mess and attempting to secure a happy and healthy future. However, I worry that their efforts are in vain.

I snap out of my thoughts when I see a familiar blue blur racing around what used to be his most favorite zone in all of Mobius.

"Oh, hi Sonic." I waved but displayed no emotion.

Sonic, however, being the guy he is, displayed tons of emotion. He gave me a goofy grin and said, "Gee, didn't expect to see you out here this lovely morning."

I looked up at the gray sky filled with smoke and chemicals. "Actually, it's afternoon. Or evening. Or midnight... Nobody can really tell... We just sleep when we feel tired."

"I can't tell either, but I want it to be morning, so morning is what it'll be." He stuck his tongue out sassily.

"This devastation hasn't changed you at all. I'm surprised."

"Hey, a hedgehog's gotta keep the mood bright, even if nothing around him is bright."

"How do you know the hedgehog is a boy? Could be a girl."

"Because I'm a hedgehog!"

"You're not the only hedgehog in the world, Sonic."

"In my world, I am." Sonic gave me one of his signature smirks.

That hedgehog is so gosh darn sassy.

I rolled my eyes, sighing. "Yeah well, enough said about your world. Let's speak about our world. Have you found out who did it yet?"
"Nope! But I have figured out a way to fix it!"

"That's brilliant!" I smiled for the first time in a long time. "How do we-"

"Look, behind you!"

I whirled around to see the tiniest patch of grass magically losing its pollution and becoming green again.

"It must've been the world's constant negativity that kept the world polluted." I scratched my head, thinking about what had just happened before me.

"Yup. Now we just have to figure out who started this all." Sonic nodded.

"Could be Eggman." I shrugged.

"Normally I would suggest that as well. But that's not the case here. Eggman has been found entirely innocent in this situation. Someone else did this."

"I see..." I looked up at the sky, thinking again. "But who?"

Little did we know that a little drone bot was watching us from within the polluted vegetation.

...

Nova's P.O.V

"Hmph! It seems that filthy rat Sonic and that girl Bunny have found a way to reverse our spell!" I scoffed, looking through the drone bot's camera.

"And after we worked so hard to get it just right! Those boneheads." I could hear Orion, the green echidna, groan from behind me.

"Don't worry. We'll stop them. After I-"

"We."

I sighed. "We worked so hard, I won't let them get away with this." I turned to Orion and smirked. "Not alive."

"Are you going to kill them?" Orion seemed taken aback.

"If it comes to that. I think I might have a little fun playing with them first."

"Sounds like you."

"So help me, they won't restore the land from its state, they can't lift a finger to do so! I'll make sure of it..."

"You gonna do an evil laugh?"

"What?"

"An evil laugh."

"Wha? No! That's cringey!"

"Yeah, not unlike yourself."

"Why you- agh, nevermind."

"Should I leave you be then?" Orion motioned towards the door.

"Please do."

Orion made his way out of the room.

"Get ready, Mobius, because pollution isn't the worst you're gonna see..."

YAASSS Getting Sonic Mania on Friday!!

I'm hyped!!

I recently got a Nintendo Switch and on Friday I'm getting Sonic Mania, which is said to be the best Sonic game since the original trilogy! I already have Sonic Forces, which is a 3D Sonic game (I've almost beat it lol), and it's so freaking awesome! I really like the story and the graphics are out of this world! Switching Things Up - Stampy and Bella: T.E.D Episode 2

(Why did I name this part of the story "Switching Things Up"? Because today I got Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch daaaaaaaAAAHH. So I'm incorporating my Switch world into the story now lol.)

(Also lemme address the issue that I forgot that End Portals spawn in strongholds and not dungeons. So I'm fixing this issue from this point on. I'm not stupid guys I promise XD)

I followed Stampy into a cave-like area.

"Stampy... This isn't a stronghold. This is a cave. I'm not that Minecraft stupid." I rolled my eyes and facepalmed.

"But look! There's an End Portal! End Portals only spawn in stronghold biome-ish things... It's the game's code." Stampy explained, pointing to an End Portal that was a little ways below us.

Stampy was right. There was an End Portal here. But... it looked... different. Just a bit different.

Stampy rushed to the portal and immediately placed the Eyes of Ender in. The portal lit up, but instead of the normal sea of stars that appear in normal end portals, it was just glowing. Stampy didn't seem to notice the difference, though, because before I could say anything, he jumped into the portal.

"Stampy wait! Aaaggh... I guess I gotta follow him now..." I groaned, jumping into the portal.

...

I was knocked out cold for Teddy Ruxpin knows how long until I slowly opened my eyes. It looked like a regular Minecraft overworld... But it felt different... Empty and lonely. There was no sound, no animals. A silent meadow with a river running through it, not even the popping bubbles under the water making a sound.

I looked around and saw Stampy next to me, he had just woken up too.

"Stampy, this isn't the End. Explain yourself." I was very stern.

"Well I didn't know that! You can't expect me to know everything, Bella! I'm only a cat!" Stampy tried to defend himself.

"Well... since this world... dimension... thing... looks like a normal overworld, it must act like one too. I better start building a house of some sort. You can go mining or farming or something, but keep yourself occupied while I build." I looked around at the semi-flat terrain, perfect for building a house.

Stampy nodded and ran off to find something to occupy himself with.

I got out my pink wool, which I always had in my inventory no matter the situation, and started to build. It took a couple of hours to do, but I built a pink house with a wooden plank floor. Now all it needed was a bed. I ran out of wool while building the house, so I would need to find a sheep.

I walked out of the house and peered around the area. I found a sheep grazing on the lush green grass. I walked over to it and sheared its wool off, getting three pieces. This was the only sheep I could find, so getting three pieces from one was very lucky. I took some pink dye I had and dyed the wool, and then crafted a bed with the pink wool and wooden planks.

"Okay, that should be good!" I nodded at my good craftsmanship.

I turned to walk home, but then I saw my two most favorite dogs, Cookie and Cupcake, lying on the ground. I'd know them anywhere.

"Cookie? Cupcake? What are you two doing here?" I helped them onto their paws.

They both barked happily, clearly happy to see me. I smiled. How did they get here? They must've followed me and Stampy through the portal out of worry. They are very caring dogs after all. I stood them up and brought them to the house I had built, and sat them down. I then went back out to find Stampy. He was just chilling out in an empty field, playing in the grass. Not doing anything productive, as usual, but at least I found him.

(It's time for a cutscene! Hehe, yep! I decided to pull this cutscene together by using my video editor on my tablet (because I'm nice that way and want to provide quality content). Hope you enjoy! This'll finish off this story part as well because I can't feel my fingers after all the long paragraphs I typed. So the cutscene's the last of what you're getting for now. The next part will be longer, I promise!)

So Another Journey Begins... - Stampy and Bella: Time, Elements, Dimensions

I woke up with a groggy feeling in my light pink bed. The wool was so soft, I didn't even want to get up. Aaagh, mornings are the worst. I think it's safe to say I'm not a morning person. But duty calls...

"Stampy? It's time to wake up." I sat up, rubbing my eyes.

Stampy was already awake, grooming his fur. He stopped when I spoke.

"Oh, good morning. I've been up for an hour already." He jumped up onto my bed.

"Why have you woken up so early? Don't you like sleeping in usually?" I asked.

"Usually. Today's not a normal day." Stampy smiled.

"How's today not a normal day?" I raised an eyebrow.

Stampy put his paws in the air and exclaimed, "International All-You-Can-Eat Cake Day!"

I laughed a little. "That's not a real holiday."

"It is too! So are we gonna get baking or what?" Stampy started jumping up and down.

"You can do that, since it's your holiday. I have work I need to do." I got out of bed and walked downstairs.

Stampy followed close behind me. "What work? I remember two years ago or something you had no work to do and we could freely go on adventures all day long!"

"Stampy, I'm fourteen years old. I'm not the twelve-year-old you once new. People change and mature and get more responsibilities." I reached downstairs and started analyzing the world map on the wall.

"But I'm older too! How come I don't have responsibilities?" Stampy rolled over and laid on his back.

"Because you're a cat. Cats don't usually have duties to do. However, I, on the other hand, have lots to do, especially since I'm the owner of this world and need to deliver care to all of the people and animals that live here in order to maintain a working ecosystem." I explained.

Stampy grumbled. "I miss the days when you were fun. Remember the day we defeated the Ender Dragon together for the first time?"

I thought back to that day. Yes, it was a pretty nice day. Slaying Endermen, shattering energy crystals, and delivering hits to the huge black dragon, all with a lovely shiny diamond sword.

"Yeah, I remember that. That was a simpler time... I barely had architectural skills, my buildings were more simple with flat rooftops and barely any design. I had so many dogs... And Cookie and Cupcake were really cute together back then."

"Yeah! Why can't we just... revert back to that time? I miss it. I miss the old you. I really miss all those amazing adventures we went on together, lighting portals to different worlds and exploring all things uncharted." Stampy rolled over again, and this time laid on his belly.

I looked down into Stampy's sad eyes. It was clear he was extremely upset because he couldn't spend as much time with me.

"Tell you what Stamps, after I'm done with my duties for the day, I'll take some time to adventure with you." I suggested.

Stampy's eyes immediately lit up. "Really?"

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." I promised, quoting Pinkie Pie in the process, because I did that a lot back in the day.

"Oh thank you thank you thank you! I can't wait!" Stampy skipped off to the kitchen, probably to bake some cakes.

I smiled. At least I made Stampy happy. Now it was time to make the rest of the world happy.

...

After so many hours of work, I was finally done. I had bred animals, worked a shift at my custom Pizza Hut, fished for some fish for the ocelots of the jungle I had planted, taught at the school... Everything was done. The sun was almost down, though. Oh, shoot. I had promised Stampy I would adventure with him. Well, it looks like I wasn't sleeping that night, because that's the only way I could possibly make time.

I rushed back to my castle, gave my guard cats a quick pat, and walked inside.

"Stampy?" I called out. "I know it's late, but I can still make time for our adventure!"

Stampy came running down the stairs. "Finally! I was waiting all day after I made and ate cakes so much that my stomach started to hurt!"

"You really shouldn't be eating that much cake, Stampy... Sugar's like poison for your body." I facepalmed.

"You can't tell me what to do. Anyways, look what I found." Stampy pulled out some Eyes of Ender.

"Where did you get those?" I was shocked that Stampy got ahold of such a thing.

"I was bored today, so I went to a nearby cave and fought some googlies. I managed to get some Ender Pearls. I also had some Blaze Powder in a chest, so I crafted these." Stampy explained.

"Man... I forgot completely how to craft those."

It was true. I had forgotten a lot of crafting recipes except for basic ones like wood planks, crafting tables, furnaces, tools, that kind of thing. I barely know how to craft a fence anymore.

"How long has it been since you've played Minecraft?" Stampy asked.

"A long time. So long that I've forgotten a lot of crafting recipes and gameplay mechanics. I still know the basics, but I'm not as pro as I used to be." I shrugged.

"I'll re-teach you some crafting recipes later. But for now, let's go. I found a dungeon underground, and saw an End Portal that hadn't been lit yet. We're going to revert back to the old days." Stampy ran off.

"Stampy! Wait! I--" But he was already gone.

Oh well.

All I could really do was follow now.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

WELPPPPPPPPPP I haven't posted here in foreverrrrrrrr-

Last time I posted I was 13! Before ma good ol 14th birthday!

at least i think so i mean idk-

But HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it's been too long. Way too long.
And yes, I'm 14. I'm old now :,)

Literally every single post on here nowadays is a "HEY I'M BACK" "HEY I'M FOR REAL BACK NOW" "IT'S BEEN TOO LONG" post. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get some real gud content on here.

I don't blog as often because I'm way too busy (busier than I should be) with my daily life and making video content n stuff. EDITING TAKES TIME, CHILDREN, LESSON OF THE DAY LEARNED. IT TAKES LOTSA TIME BOI.

My gash I don't even know why I'm posting. I'm not even bored. I could seriously be playing Club Penguin Rewritten right now.

And yes I play that game ;)

ALSO CLUB PENGUIN ISLAND IS SHUTTING DOWN,

IN CASE YOU GUYS DIDN'T KNOW ALREADY.

JUST LOOK AT THIS FREAKING SIGHT!

You guys don't know the half of the tears that emerged from my EYEEEEESS while reading this.

I thought it wouldn't be until 10 years until CPI closed. BUT I GUESS 1 YEAR WILL HAVE TO DO.

At least on November 15, 2018, they're giving everyone free membership. HA! AND YOU THOUGHT DISNEY WAS ALL ABOUT DA MONEY MONEY MONEY!

I also play Webkinz ;w; I'm so childlike.
i don't have the plushies because my parents think i'd never use em.

I'm just gonna watch some YouTube now. OH YEAH ANOTHER THING HAS CHANGED, I'M ALLOWED ON YOUTUBE NOW YEYYY XD. It's the best freaking thing everrrrrr.

Thanks for reading? I guess? XD

I'm not gonna do the whole outro I used to do on all of my posts because I find it extremely unnecessary now. So please just deal with just a smol, quick,

Bye.

News on my series "Stampy and Bella"

Okay so, I really enjoyed writing that series. I was tempted to go back and continue writing it, but then I read the previous episodes and I don't think it's continue-worthy... So I'm sorry to say this but Stampy and Bella has been cancelled.

DO! NOT! WORRY! (imagine me clapping once in between words lol)

I'm only cancelling the series because I want to reboot it. It's gonna have the same type of concept but with actual logic.

Take the first episode of Stampy and Bella for example. For some REALLY odd reason, my character was gullible and got fooled into thinking a massive iron building is a princess ruin. WH- Dude. That's just weird on so many levels. Even in real life I'm not dumb enough to believe a skyscraper is a donut in disguise or something. I'm sorry but there's not been a lot of logic to that series. So that's why I have to reboot it (and hopefully save it).

But yeah, thought I might make a post before I reboot the whole thing because who knows, maybe some of you actually liked it. Don't worry, I won't be deleting any of the previous chapters and episodes so you can always feel free to go back and read them and take a trip down memory lane if you'd really like to. :)

This series got up to 25 episodes and 9 original story-starter chapters explaining how the two characters, Stampy and Bella, met. The 25 episodes are their adventures in the wonderful world of Minecraft. I haven't updated that series in a while so it might take you some scrolling to do to get to the story.

Anyways, that's all for now! Thanks for reading this update.

See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!

Oh boy! XD

Gotta keep up that Animal Jam diamond streak! 👍

Why did I make this blog? I have no idea XD

Heyyyyooooo Everybody!

Hey there everybody, Bella here! You might have seen the animation WIP I posted recently, and now I'm posting an actual blog post. This is because I feel like I should get back into the swing of blogging! I remember how much fun it was to write blogs and stories and all that. So yeah, this is going to be first of many blogs! I don't know when the next one is coming out so I'll just make this one count.

You may have seen I changed my profile picture for the first time in forever, only because I wanted something cartoony and not myself. I might change my profile picture more than once, but I dunno. Honestly I'm just getting used to what Blogger has to offer, even though I've been using it since 2014. Most of that time was pure inactivity though. Heh heh, anyone remember that huge break because my parents wouldn't let me publish on my own back then? Though I understand why, I was 9 years old. I'm 13 now so yeah, that explains things.

I'm actually really happy to be back on here, there are so many possibilities on what I can do. It's awesome! :3

So anyone remember when I was younger, when I promised myself I would make animations then immediately slack on them for who knows how long? Well recently I haven't been slacking. I actually have been animating daily nowadays! I think the reason I was slacking is because I used two terrible tools, Minecraft Stop-Motion and MS Paint. Now I've decided to use Flipnote Studio on my DSi and FlipAClip on my tablet. They're much more user-friendly, I'll tell you that.

Recently I've also gotten obsessed with Kirby. Take ONE GUESS on why I chose Kirby. I'll give you a hint, it's his color. Oh I just revealed it-

I also have Kirby Battle Royale, and that game, ohhhh my goodness golly gosh it's amazing!! YASSS I LOVE IT! I also recently got Sonic Generations. Sometimes it gets irritating with that whole Boost thing, but overall it can be fun. I'm just hoping to get Sonic's Schoolhouse soon. 10/10 IGN. Best game.

Anyways, that's pretty much all I have to cover for now, but I'll see you guys next time, and hopefully that'll be super duper soon!!

See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!

WIP Animation

Okay so this took waayyyyy longer than it needed to. This animation alone took three days to make and it's still a WIP.

This is why I don't animate all that often-

Anyways, hope you enjoy, it took forever to get the timing just right and it still needs some fine tuning.

See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!

"Click on me for help!" - Sonic's Schoolhouse Drawing

This took way too long-

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

Soooooo this is a drawing based off of the legendary game called Sonic's Schoolhouse. Many know it as a bad game, worse than Sonic '06, but I beg to differ, it's MUCH better than '06, and frankly any other Sonic game. My opinion.

This took like, I dunno, 30 minutes? I didn't keep track. I was busy scribbling the background with an airbrush in MS Paint.

And YES, I did this in MS Paint, the worst art program of all time.

Suitable.

Y'know.

Considering it's Sonic's Schoolhouse.

ANYWAYS THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY, HAVE A GOOD REST OF YOUR DAY! <3

See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!
