Stampy and I raced outside to find almost everything on fire and LOADS of pits in the ground followed by ash.
"Looks like this attack has already started. Like, by a LOT." I said.
Stampy rubbed up against my leg. He started purring, trying to comfort me.
I sighed and picked Stampy up.
"What are we going to do?" I asked as I watched the fire spread.
"Well, for starters, you can LOOSEN YOUR GRIP ON ME." Stampy said.
"Whoops. Sorry." I said, loosening my grip.
"And secondly, we should find a way out of here. If the whole place is burning to a crisp, then we should get everyone to safety." Stampy explained.
"Good plan. I'll go round everyone up." I said, running towards the pet room.
I burst open the door, and the dogs and cats looked at me like, "What are you doing?"
"Hurry everyone, we've got a non-practice fire drill." I said, taking down the item frames in the room that had useful materials inside.
The doggies and kitties followed me outside. Stampy was hissing at a load of creepers.
"Looks like I can finally use my knowledge of target practice." I said, taking out my bow and arrow.
I shot an arrow at the creeper, and it feel over and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"Oh, thank goodness you got them all. I've been hissing at these creepers, trying to get them away for like, FOREVER." Stampy sighed.
"It's only been two minutes, Stampy. Don't be dramatic." I said, rolling my eyes.
Stampy jumped into my arms and we headed for my private beach.
"Okay, we should be able to get to my boat from here." I said, pointing to my work-in-progress boat.
"We're going to sail away in a work-in-progress ship, what, are you insane?!" Stampy shrieked.
"It's the only safe land around here! Now go go go!!!" I shouted, boarding all the pets on the boat.
Stampy hurried up the ladder and I followed close behind him.
Once we all got up, we could see a lot of creepers, skeletons, and spiders EVERYWHERE.
"Crud!" I exclaimed, noticing them almost instantly.
"What are we going to do now?" Stampy asked.
"Er... Um... We fight! You still have that diamond sword in your inventory, right?" I said.
"No... it broke. The creepers... kinda blew it up." Stampy said, turning as red as a tomato.
"Well, luckily they invented Elytra wings just recently. We can glide down into the water!" I said, taking out some Elytra wings.
"Ohh, Elytra? I've heard of those! My friend Squid and I shared those once." Stampy said, gazing at the wings in wonder.
"No time for reminisce! Just put the wings on and let's go!" I said, equipping myself with the wings.
"I wish these wings didn't have a health bar. My pair is unusually low in health." Stampy said, putting his pair on.
"Well, it should last for now. Now jump!" I said, jumping off the boat.
I launched the fly mode and instantly started flying.
The ocean looked beautiful at night, and the moon was shining on its peaceful waters.
I looked behind me and saw Stampy struggling to glide.
"Heh, doin' okay there, Stamps?" I asked.
"Argh, stupid things won't work!!!" Stampy groaned.
"Just put your paws in front of you and your legs straight." I said.
Stampy got into the position I told him and instantaneously he started to glide gracefully.
"Whee! I'm like a catterfly! Or something!" Stampy said gleefully.
"Or a fairy cat!" I giggled.
"Ewwwww! Fairies are gross girl stuff!" Stampy said.
I laughed and continued to glide.
"Is there even any land near here?" Stampy asked.
"I think there's an island way out. But we'll have to swim part of the way there since these wings won't last very long." I said.
"Ohhhh, that's reassuring. NOT." Stampy groaned.
Then, Stampy's wings stopped, and he dropped into the water.
"AH! THE WATER!!! IT BURNS, IT BURNS!" Stampy yelped.
I giggled, but then MY wings stopped and I dropped down into the water, too.
"Oh, great. Now we're stuck swimming." Stampy groaned.
"Let's just keep swimming north, there's gotta be some land somewhere." I said.
"I hope you're right, cats don't like the water." Stampy said.
"I know that now." I sighed.
