Oh my gosh! I am so so very sorry for not posting this episode sooner! I finally got off my lazy bum and did it, though! And now, for the episode (I hope I can remember it right). And apologies if I have already done this episode, I tried to look over all of the episodes to make sure, and I'm pretty sure this is new.
Apple Blossom walked down to the basement of Soffa's house.
"Siiiis! I got the--..." Apple Bloom singsonged, pausing afterwards.
There Soffa was, waving a watch in her own face.
"Um... why are you hypnotizing yourself?" Apple Blossom asked, tilting her head.
"I'm not hypnotizing myself! I'm trying to make myself forget about the day that was yesterday! The most embarrassing day ever!" Soffa said, immediately reacting.
"O-kay.... Mind telling me what happened, exactly?" Apple Blossom asked.
"I remember it like it was yesterday... because it was yesterday..." Soffa started.
***FLASHBACK!!!!!!!!!***
Soffa walked along the streets of Ponyville, happily trotting and carrying a bag of groceries that she freshly bought.
"Hey Soffa!" Gala greeted as Soffa approached her.
"Oh, hey Gala." Soffa said, waving.
"I'm just watering my flowers, like I do." Gala said, picking up her hose.
Gala turned on the water, but the hose didn't spray any on the blooming plants.
Gala picked up the hose (which had actually been blocked) and looked at it, its spout pointed at Soffa.
Suddenly, water sprayed all over Soffa, and when it dried, Soffa's face was redder than blood itself.
"Oh my gosh! Soffa! Are you okay?!" Gala shrieked, worried.
Before Soffa could answer, all the nearby ponies started laughing at Soffa, pointing at her and calling her names.
Soffa then ran off to her house and locked the door.
***Flashback end.***
"I can't believe that happened!" Apple Blossom shrieked.
"I know!" Soffa said, nodding.
"Well, I hope everything's better now, because we need to get going to the picnic later." Apple Blossom said, picking up a long list of groceries.
"OH NO! THE PICNIC! I'm still a laughing stock! I can't go to the picnic!" Soffa shrieked.
"Well, at least get the things your friends need for it and deliver it in disguise!" Apple Blossom said, handing Soffa the list.
"You're right, but I already have everything except... Ohh great. Jelly. Come on, we're going shopping." Soffa said, looking over the list.
***TO THE STORE WE GO!***
Soffa looked through the aisles, trying to find the jelly section.
"You know, we can always get the PB&J value pack..." Apple Blossom said.
"No, we're going to stay genuine." Soffa said.
Soffa finally found the jelly section. One jar of grape jelly stood on the shelf.
"It's like fate brought us together... the last one!" Soffa said, reaching out for the jar of jelly.
Suddenly, someone else picked up the jelly with their magic.
Soffa turned to see a pony holding the jelly, and it was definitely not her.
"Hey! Gimme that! I had it first!" Soffa said, trying to swipe it back.
"And I have it
now." The pony said, putting the jelly into her cart and walking away.
"If we're not going to have jelly, that's one more embarrassment you're going to have to avoid..." Apple Blossom said, making Soffa feel worse.
"I guess I'm going to have to arrive to the picnic in disguise, then." Soffa said, walking out of the store.
***To the PARK!!!!!***
Soffa put on a huge floppy hat and a frilly dress.
"Okay. You. Look. Ridiculous." Apple Blossom said, facepalming herself.
"I know, I know... But I really don't wanna get any more embarrassed than I already am." Soffa said.
"Fine. But please don't embarrass ME by using that fancy voice. Think of something else." Apple Blossom said.
Soffa nodded and put some lipstick on her lips so that there would be no realizer that she was who she was.
Apple Blossom was carrying the basket so that Soffa wouldn't have a security breach.
"Hi, Ruby! Hi, Gala!" Apple Blossom greeted, putting the basket down on the picnic blanket.
"Hey, kiddo! Where's Soffa?" Ruby said, waving.
"Yeah, I thought she was coming!" Gala said.
"Oh, she's... um... sick. She's sick!" Apple Blossom stammered.
"Oh my! Is she okay?" Gala shrieked.
"She's fine." Apple Blossom said.
Soffa tried to walk away, but apparently nopony wanted her to.
"Excuse me? Who are you?" Gala asked.
Soffa stopped in her tracks.
"Er... Um... Miss Flaffertypants?" Soffa said, but it sounded like a question.
"Miss what now?" Ruby asked, tilting her head.
"Flaffertypants?" Soffa said, and it, once again, sounded like a question.
"Well, Miss Flaffertypants, would you like to join us on our picnic? There's room for one more, since our friend, Soffa, is sick." Gala said, taking out the picnic plates.
"Oh, you don't say! Well, that would be all nice and beautiful and fun, but I really must be going...!" Soffa said, now putting on her fancy accent.
Apple Blossom facepalmed herself.
Ruby crossed her arms.
Gala sighed.
"On second thought... sure." Soffa said, feeling bad for her friends.
Soffa sat down with her friends and had the picnic with them.
"Wow! You're really amazing, Miss Flaffertypants! Maybe we could all meet up at Soffa's place tonight and you can meet her!" Gala said once the picnic was over.
"Oh... sure!" Soffa said, breaking out a sweat.
***That night***
Gala and Ruby arrived at the door of Soffa's house. Gala knocked on it.
"AH! THEY'RE HERE!" Soffa shrieked.
Soffa quickly frizzed up her hair, and covered her face in green grape juice so that it looked green.
She then answered the door.
"[cough, cough] Hey, girls... [wheeze] What's up?" Soffa fake coughed.
"We wanted you to meet Miss Flaffertypants, she'll be along in a bit." Gala said.
"Oh... you see... the thing is...." Soffa stammered as Apple Blossom came to the door.
"Soffa was embarrassed of you so she disguised herself and yet she didn't bring any jelly." Apple Blossom said quickly.
Soffa started sweating, and her face turned as red as a tomato.
"Oh, Soffa! You shouldn't lie to your friends like that just so you can save your social standing!" Gala said.
"Yeah, and it wasn't even all that bad! Really! It wasn't!" Ruby said, crossing her arms.
"I'm really sorry, girls. I promise I won't ever do it again." Soffa said, hugging her friends.
M&M was watching it all from the living room, then started to write to Princess Honesty, as if on cue.
Dear Princess Honesty,
Today Soffa learned that you should never try and disguise yourself to your friends. Real friends won't care what happened in the past, they look past it and look into the present. They also see what's in your heart, and see what type of pony you really want to be.
Sincerely,
M&M
See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!
