Okay, remember what Han Solo said about that "brief" rest stop? He should have said "very long overnight" rest stop. Because apparently we were going to stay overnight.
I looked out the window as we slowly landed on the desert-like planet of Tattooine.
"Wow, it's really desert-ish... Next thing you know we'll be wearing 8 gallon hats and fighting robot cowboys." I said, trying to make a joke out of it.
Response of staring. Like I haven't seen THAT already. I'm pretty sure that has happened over ten thousand times. Today.
"Old West reference." I added.
Once the ship had completely landed, the cockpit's window lifted like a door.
We all climbed out and into the sand.
"These shoes were NOT meant for desert trekking. Nor was my outfit. It's HOT out here!!!" I complained as soon as my feet touched the ground.
"Oh, quit your whining." Luke said.
I was used to complaining all the time. However, this wasn't the time for complaining.
"Well, we're here... What now?" I asked.
"Easy, find the nearest civilization and get the cheapest housing." Han Solo said, shrugging.
"Ohhh, a motel?" I asked, clapping my hands together.
Another response of staring. Apparently hotels and motels did NOT exist in a galaxy far, far away.
"Nevermind." I added quickly.
Okay, I was a little nervous. Scratch that, A LOT nervous. That's why I like to tell jokes. When I make jokes out of situations, it makes it a lot less nerve-wracking. Unfortunately, no one was getting my jokes.
I needed a little bit of confidence, so I stood there thinking for a while, trying to think of something motivational.
Didn't Spongebob tell me something that motivated me once?
Hmm, let's check my latest quote.
"It was his hat, Mr. Krabs!!! HE WAS NUMBER ONE!!!"
Nope. Spongebob did NOT say it.
Wait, since when does Spongebob have motivational quotes? Did I miss something?
"Come on, we better get going." Luke said, leading the way.
We arrived at some sort of Tattooine town (I have no idea what places are called in Star Wars, don't blame me).
"Wow, it's pretty small compared to the Death Star... It sure could use some architectural flourishes... or ANY architectural flourishes." I said, staring at the town.
I looked at everyone, but no one was saying anything. I could tell that no one really wanted to compare sizes.
I sighed. I was going to have to roll with things for a bit.
...
When we were all settled into our rooms, I sat down at the wooden vanity. I looked into the mirror. All I could see was a young girl who didn't fit in. Unfortunately, that girl is ME.
I opened the vanity drawer and placed my lightsaber inside. It's not like Kylo Ren would come here in my SLEEP. That's just creepy (AND that's something that would keep me up at night FOR LIFE).
My hair was a tangled mess, since my hair was down and I hadn't brushed it quite yet.
I got up from the vanity and got into my bed. I snuggled under the covers and put my hands under the pillow. Maybe things would be right in the morning. I turned off the lamp and closed my eyes.
...
I woke up to the sound of blasting lasers.
"Huh? Where's Bella?" I shouted, my head bouncing up.
I raced towards the window and quickly pulled open the curtains. Storm Troopers, blasters, lasers.
OH NO...
We were being followed by Kylo Ren!!!
I kicked open the vanity to find that my lightsaber wasn't there anymore!
"WHAT?! WHERE... IS IT... GOING NUTS!!!!!!!" I yelled in shock.
Now I had nothing to defend myself with. Greeeeaaaat.
Wait, if someone had been in here, wouldn't I have heard them?
Oh, now there's the discovery that I'm a VERY deep sleeper and can only awaken to laser sounds. Just great.
I quickly pushed open the door. Everything had been blown up, and the door to my room was now the door to the outside.
It looked SOOO much like Attack on Cloud Cuckoo Land, minus the rainbows, clouds, Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, and Batman.
I just stood there, frozen in shock. Never in my life had I expected such action.
And, if this DID end up like Attack on Cloud Cuckoo Land from the Lego Movie, then we'd better say our goodbyes to Tattooine.
I started panting, filled with panic, shock, and mostly FEAR.
I mean, who WOULDN'T be scared of the Dark Side if they were facing it in real life?
My huge disadvantage is that I had no weapons, I was out in the open (which meant I was vulnerable, basically), and I didn't know where ANY of the others were.
Perfect.
NOT.
See you next time on Bella's Pink Planet!
Remember, Bella loves you guys!
BYE!
