Tornado punched the ice with all her might. She had to save her friend from drowning. Even if it meant giving up her evil plans to steal the Ice Shard.
When the ice cracked open, it revealed that nothing was under it.
"No!" Tornado whispered, tears swelling up in her eyes.
Tornado loved Snowflake like her own. And now Snowflake was dead.
"MOM!!! MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tornado yelled, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Tornado's mom, Thunder Bolt, came out to see what was the matter.
"What's wrong, dear?" Thunder asked.
"Snowflake's dead! And it's all because of me!" Tornado said, her voice cracking.
"Oh, dearie me! Well, you can't get her back, she's lost in the Void now." Thunder said, seeing no body under the water.
"I know, [sniff], I know..." Tornado mumbled.
***Ice Forest***
Snowflake trotted in front of Kris like she knew where she was going.
"Do you even know where the Ice Palace is?" Kris asked worriedly.
"Er, actually... no. Pointers, please?" Snowflake said, turning around.
"[Sigh]. Just head to the Ice City and it's at the back of it all." Kris explained.
"Okay! Um, one question. Where's the Ice City?" Snowflake said.
"Ugh, this will take all day if we keep this up. Just follow me." Kris said, leading the way.
Snowflake followed Kris until they arrived at a fork in the pathway.
"Where to now?" Snowflake asked.
"I don't know. These two pathways weren't here before, there was only one..." Kris said.
